The Sooke Salmon Enhancement Society needs your help. New members of all ages are welcome and will ensure that the Society’s salmon enhancement programs continue to flourish.

Some of the activities that volunteers take part in are:
- Collecting brood stock - September to October
- Shocking eggs - September to December
- Feeding fry at hatchery - January to June
- Work parties throughout the year
- General hatchery duties & maintenance
- Chinook Salmon Derby planning - February to August
- Annual Chinook Salmon Derby - August long weekend
